When AI Notetaker records a meeting, it transcribes the full conversation word for word before writing your summary. You can open it directly, read the complete back-and-forth, name each speaker, and download it as a file. Your AI summary stays exactly as it is. The transcript lives alongside it as a separate, verbatim record you can pull up whenever you need the exact words.

  1. Open the desired Contact
  2. Go to the AI Notetaker from the meeting you wish to select
  3. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the note
  4. Select “View Transcription”
  5. The full transcript opens in a side panel next to your note

There are various capabilities you have as a user when it comes to the transcript.

  • The panel shows the complete, verbatim conversation. Every line attributed to each speaker in order. This is the raw record, kept entirely separate from you AI summary, so your highlights are preserved.

  • By default, the transcript labels each voice as “Speaker 1,” “Speaker 2,” and so on. To assign real names, click “Set speakers” at the bottom of the transcript panel, assign a name to each label (for example, Speaker 1 is the advisor, Speaker 2 is the client), and save. Names apply throughout the transcript and carry into any download, and you can update them anytime.

  • Click “Download” to save the transcript as a .txt file, automatically named for the contact and meeting date. Keep it for your records, share it with a team member, or attach it wherever you need it. If you’ve named the speakers, those names carry into the downloaded file.

If AI Notetaker does not create a note, or you receive the message “This meeting is empty and could not be transcribed,” make sure your microphone permissions are enabled.

Make sure your device allows Swivel Connect to access your microphone.

Make sure both your device and your web browser allow Swivel to access your microphone.

  • Your device must allow the browser to use the microphone.
  • Your browser must allow Swivel to use the microphone.

If either permission is turned off, AI Notetaker may not be able to record.
