  • Send from Your Email Application: Select the contact’s email address to open your default email application and compose the email there.

Emails sent from Swivel are recorded in the contact’s Communications Log. Emails sent from your email application are also recorded there if your email account is connected to Swivel.

Select the synced email account you want to send from.

If you haven’t connected your email account to Swivel, see Connect Google Calendar and Gmail or Connect Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Email.

A SendGrid badge indicates a verified company email domain. A verified domain allows Swivel to send email using an email address at your organization’s domain.

When you select a verified domain, additional fields appear:

  • Name: Enter the name you want the recipient to see as the sender.
  • Address: Enter the part of the email address before @domain.com.

For example, if your verified domain is example.com:

If you want to send an email from your own connected email account, choose the option with the Microsoft or Google badge.

If you use a verified domain, make sure you know where replies to the email address will be received.

You can attach files to 1:1 emails sent from Swivel using a synced Microsoft or Google account.

To add an attachment:

  1. Select the attachment option while composing the email.
  2. Choose the file you want to include.

You can attach the following file types:
