Getting Started with Swivel

Your First Day in Swivel

Get comfortable navigating Swivel, find the information you use every day, and complete your first tasks with confidence.

Today’s goal isn’t to learn every feature in Swivel.

It’s to become comfortable finding your way around so you can begin working with confidence while continuing to serve your clients.

By the end of today, you should know where to find the information you use most often, complete a familiar task, and know where to go when you need help.

Complete these four priorities before the end of your first day. Don’t worry about mastering every feature. Focus on becoming comfortable with the work you’ll perform every day.

Why don’t I see my products or accounts?

Section titled “Why don’t I see my products or accounts?”

If your legacy CRM included your policies or accounts, you should see this information; but, you may need to do some data cleanup or import your book of business into Swivel. Depending on your needs, you can complete the import yourself or work with our Professional Services team for a paid product import.

My data is in Swivel, but it needs cleanup. What should I do?

Section titled “My data is in Swivel, but it needs cleanup. What should I do?”

Some cleanup is expected after moving from another CRM because every system organizes data differently.

Start by identifying the areas that need attention, such as duplicate contacts, inconsistent categories, or product information. You can continue working in Swivel while making incremental improvements over time.
