How to Manage a Contact's SMS Opt-in
When to use this

If a contact texts you first, they will automatically be granted opt-in approval!
How to resend an opt-in message
Section titled “How to resend an opt-in message”- Go to the Contact’s record
- Click the three-dot Action Menu (located next to the Edit Contact button)
- Click Communication Preferences
- Click Resend Op-in
A 5-minute cooldown helps prevent repeated submissions, and on-screen notifications provide immediate feedback on whether the resend was successful or rate-limited.
